Description:

The current version of Halo PC, version 1.07 (Build 613), incorrectly reports that it is not compatible with the version of DirectX included in new builds of Windows. The following fix removes this check; there are no other changes.

Note: This patch is ONLY FOR users running Halo CE on the beta releases of Windows Vista (formerly Windows code name "Longhorn").

Halo Custom Edition 1.07 (Build 614)
For users running Halo Custom Edition (Halo CE), you will need this patch instead. Unzip these two files into your game directory, typically C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\ . This patch is provided for convenience only, and (like the rest of Halo CE) is not officially supported.
